Technical Details
The app features a React Native frontend, delivering a smooth mobile experience on both Apple and Android devices. Its Python and Flask backend ensures robust performance, with Firestore managing data and the entire platform running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key integrations include Google Maps API and Places API for location services, along with Firebase Authentication for secure login. The app also features a marketplace for dog-related products, with media content stored in GCP Storage. It is deployed in a serverless environment using GCP Cloud Run, while version control and artifact management are handled through GitHub and GCP Artifact Registry.
