FuelFWD serves as your real-time data hub, tailored to the realities of the supply chain and designed to meet both current and future compliance requirements. The platform offers features such as Mass Balance Automation, Product Conversion, and Product Tracing.
Initially focused on green hydrogen, FuelFWD quickly expanded to include biofuels, driven by customer demand for a comprehensive chain-of-custody solution in this market.
Technical Details
The FuelFWD platform is developed using emerging cloud-native technologies and consists of two components: Onchain and Offchain.
The Onchain component is modular and consists of a combination of smart contracts. It facilitates Identity and Access Management (I&AM) within smart contracts, includes smart contract wallets, an extendable token model, and supports traceable, access-controlled events. It also manages lifecycle events such as merging and splitting, and provides a marketplace contract for tradability between parties.
This powerful platform is deployed in fully dockerized managed Kubernetes cluster environment in Microsoft-Azure.
The Offchain component is a cloud-native, distributed system with backend services that facilitate an extendable Identity and Access Management (I&AM) system, written in Node.js/TypeScript. It supports data aggregation and snapshot services for reports and dashboards, as well as core operational backend services. These backend services, which are scoped per organization, support configurability and extendability. The backend is developed in Golang with PostgreSQL databases.
